Alexandre Sidorov started his own setting-workshop in 1994. He developed a new setting technique through his experience as an optical engraver and goldsmith. Alexandr developed this optical stone setting technique to work much faster and precisely.
Thanks to this perfection and speed, this technique had a lot of success. This resulted in a rising demand for optical setters and how to learn it. In answer to this demand Alexandr founded the Optical Diamond Setting School in 1999.
Everyone can enrol for this course, even someone without any experience in jewelery can become a professional setter in 3 months.
Also with the optical setting-technique, it is possible to make all sorts of settings like: grain-pavé, grain-filé, serti-clos, solitaire … on different objects as jewelery, watches, pens, etc. It is also possible to set the stones in different materials such as steel, titanium, platinum, the different sorts of gold and many more.
The services Alexandre offers are not only setting of gems, you can also let the company design, manufacture, engrave, set and finish (inclusive Photo shooting) your jewelery.
